Cool pics. I bet that was alot of fun checking out Jerry's art. I love his ties, I wear them at work everyday. I feel like I'm able to keep some inner-hippie in the middle of corporate America.

Great shots! Got your cds today-thanks. To post pics, there is an Add Files button on these reply screens. Hit that, then browse, then add the files and post away. I'll chime in as well to say those of here at the mostly boys club are spoiled by elated with the addition of a cute Deadhead. Thanks for singlehandedly upgrading the forum.

Hey guys! I've got a big smile on my face after reading this thread! =D

well, I guess I should tell you that if you were trying to get rid of me, those reactions just aren't going to work. thank you for the compliments.

This was really cool today, and I'm still on a bit of a high from it! Mainly I think because my 3 girls loved it too! Sammi's got on my Europe '72 T (she actually asked me if she could wear it!) They had the dead playing on the loud speakers in the background, and my daughter Nicole (one in the black sweater), was singing the words to The Wheel!! and Danielle (little one) got to sit at a table they had set up with crayons and collor a photo copy of one of jerry's works... the Dinosaur one, which we get to keep.

Cool!

Oh okay I see.. wow Jerry Garcia art. What a man..I cannot think of anyone else who literally devoted their whole life to music (minus the 9 months in the army, but even there he had a guitar!). Man.. he literally devoted his life to the arts. I have so much respect for him.

Wow. I am still in awe. I am so thankful you took those pictures. I would imagine that a lot of the time, Garcia's art is often underlooked by his music.. and that art is just as powerful as the music. The music hits me over time.. but when I look at those.. I get an eclection (eclectic collection) of feelings that rush through me. "Wharf Rat" (The only drawing/painting that Garcia ever made based on his music, i read somewhere that he liked to keep them separate) is going on auction on ebay.. I wish I could buy it.

Thanks Dancinbear; no wonder Dire was so quick to take you on as Queen (no, looks are not all there is, but...). You have three lovely daughters, and I can say that as a father of three boys and not a dirty old man (recall I had my prostate out so I am not chasing anyone for a while; besides, happily married to a beautiful and tolerant woman..."you are actually analyzing WHAT they say between songs, aren't you?!?").
